As a founder of a non profit organization, I developed and implemented an evidence-based drama therapy method that served over 200,000 youth in New York City schools, hospitals and juvenile justice centers for over 30 years. I continue to train educators and therapists in The ENACT DRAMA THERAPY METHOD, empowering professionals to create impactful change through creative drama and therapeutic approaches.

I am deeply passionate about supporting children with a strong commitment to making lasting impact.

  • I am honored to have received multiple awards including a five-year research grant from the Ford Foundation and that my Enact method of drama therapy was named, “Best Creative Group Counseling Method” from the American Group Psychotherapy Association.

  • I have authored chapters in drama therapy textbooks and peer-reviewed journals, and my latest book Stuck in a Role: Releasing Trauma in Teens, will be published by Routledge Press in the Spring of 2025.

  • My dedication to children extends far beyond New York and includes volunteer work with chldren in rural India.
