As a founder of a non profit organization, I developed and implemented an evidence-based drama therapy method that served over 200,000 youth in New York City schools, hospitals and juvenile justice centers for over 30 years. I continue to train educators and therapists in The ENACT DRAMA THERAPY METHOD, empowering professionals to create impactful change through creative drama and therapeutic approaches.
I am deeply passionate about supporting children with a strong commitment to making lasting impact.
I am honored to have received multiple awards including a five-year research grant from the Ford Foundation and that my Enact method of drama therapy was named, “Best Creative Group Counseling Method” from the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
I have authored chapters in drama therapy textbooks and peer-reviewed journals, and my latest book Stuck in a Role: Releasing Trauma in Teens, will be published by Routledge Press in the Spring of 2025.
My dedication to children extends far beyond New York and includes volunteer work with chldren in rural India.
